The Post-Doctoral Researcher will be based at IDS in the Resource Politics cluster and the Health and Nutrition cluster. Both clusters contributes directly to IDS' vision of Engaged Excellence, working across the institute and with partners to support this change by promoting evidence-informed policy making and practice.
We are now recruiting for a Post-Doctoral Researcher to work with us on two exciting new research projects at the intersection between water, agriculture and nutrition looking at the impact of innovation as well as uncertainty, water and climate change. If you have a thorough understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects of policy analysis, qualitative impact evaluation, ICTs in development, resource politics and water, climate change and uncertainty as well as experience in ethnographic research and managing research projects on water, agriculture and nutrition in India and/or Bangladesh, we would very much like to hear from you.
Salary: Initial appointment will be at/between £34,137 - £45,121 per annum, notional, pro rata (depending on experience), in the IDS Grade 7 range. IDS will expect to be recruiting from the lowest end of the salary range
