HU Excellent Scholarship (HES)
HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht is pleased to offer two scholarships to non-European students.
This € 3.500 scholarship is for non-EU/EEA students with excellent academic credentials from their previous educati
on. You are eligible if you meet the following criteria:- You have been admitted to one of our English-taught Bachelor’s programmes.
- You have a non-EU/EEA nationality and pay the higher tuition fee of € 8,044.
- You do not qualify for any other scholarship or student grant.
- You had a GPA (grade point average) of 3.3. or B+ during your previous education.
The scholarship is awarded for one academic year. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come-first-served basis. Please contact io@hu.nl for questions.
How can I apply?
Please submit a HU Excellent Scholarship application form before August 15th with the required documents to the address listed on the form. The sooner you send the form, the earlier you will get a response.

Does your GPA not meet the requirement for the Excellent Scholarship? You can still apply for the Talent Scholarship of €2,000! The Talent Scholarship is for non-EU/EEA students who meet the following criteria:
- You have been admitted to one of our English-taught Bachelor’s programmes.
- You have a non-EU/EEA nationality and pay the higher tuition fee of € 8,044.
- You do not qualify for any other scholarship or student grant.
The scholarship is awarded for one academic year. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come-first-served basis.

If you apply and the results of your previous education or your results obtained at HU (for re-enrolling students) are considered insufficient for the HU Excellent Scholarship, we will automatically re-consider your application for the HU Talent Scholarship. This means you will not need to send in two applications.

Scholarships for September 2015
We are pleased to offer scholarships for international (non-EU) students beginning an undergraduate course in September 2015. To apply for a scholarship you must already hold an offer to study a full-time degree with us in September 2015 - if you don't have an offer yet find out how to apply.
